What
Telenet supports CoderDojo Belgium, a non-profit organisation teaching children between 7 and 18 years the art of programming and developing games, websites and apps. Martine Temples, Senior Vice President for Business at Telenet, is the leading lady on this project. She is deeply convinced that science, technology, engineering and mathematics will be even more important in the future. Therefore CoderDojo Belgium wants to stimulate children and familiarise them in a pleasant way with the world of ICT.
Impact
By stimulating children and familiarising them with the world of coding, they will be better prepared to gain further knowledge on ICT. This project fully relies on volunteers and reaches up to 1400 children per month. Everbody’s welcome, as long as the children are “enthusiast” about ICT.
